Mwai Kibaki Jnr, grandson to late President Mwai Kibaki thanked the people who have been praying for him and his family during this difficult time.
His message comes after President Uhuru Kenyatta announced the death of former President Mwai Kibaki.
Well, over the years, Kibaki Jnr has been posting photos with the former President.
"I've learned that I still have a lot to learn." He wrote in a 2017 post
In the same year, he shared a photo with the former President and followed it with love emojis.
In a 2018 post, he shared his photo with his grandpa whose caption read;
"Pray, then let it go. Don’t try and manipulate the outcome. Just trust God to open the right doors at the right time."
He has also been paying tribute to his grandma, Mama Lucy Kibaki who died on 26th April 2016.
"She is water. Powerful enough to drown you.Soft enough to cleanse you.Deep enough to save you." He wrote in a 2021 post
"When a loved one becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure." He wrote a day after his grandma's death
