Ben Pol said he would go the Harmonize way to woo his lover as long as no government laws are getting broken.
He would go all the way out as long as he knew he was in the wrong or his gut told him to do so.
After being asked his advice to the duo (Harmonize and Kajala), he said
“As long as inatoka moyoni (its from the heart), individually, all the best, but isiwe Kwasababu ya (let it not be because of) pressure kutoka kwa familia (from the family). Or because it would be good for business, isiwe (let it not be) inspired from anything else apart from Moyo Wako kutaka (your heart)," Ben advised.
Tips from the artist to those aspiring to get married is that every relationship/marriage is different: what may work for one may not work for another. Evaluate the reason you want to get into a relationship (Pressure from friends or family), and finally it should be a decision from within, not from without.
The artist says he has no regrets in life, he takes the hurdles as life presents different lessons to him.
Ben is at a place in his life where he is not feeling pressured at all to get married and says when he is ready, no matter how long it takes is when he will jump the broom.
“Until you feel you love yourself enough to give love to someone else and you are present for yourself, caring for yourself, and you can extend that care to someone else, if not subiri (wait),” he responded after being asked how long one should wait before moving on.
