Cardi B is considering surgery just nine months after giving birth to her second-born, Wave.

She revealed this in an Instagram story, with the rapper specifying that she wanted a tummy tuck.

In the video, Cardi B said of her stomach "it's giving tummy tuck. Like, it's not bad but I just don't like this extra little skin."

"I am a little heavier than usual. I don't like it. I want to get rid of it," she said of her stomach

"I think Wavey did me wrong, so I cannot wait to put out this song and do more things so I can get the f--- out and do my f---ing surgery. I'm over it."

"Me and surgery goes together bad."

In September, Cardi and husband Offset announced they had welcomed a son

"We are so overjoyed to finally meet our son. He is already loved so much by family and friends and we can't wait to introduce him to his other siblings." the couple told People Magazine.

"When Set suggested Wave, I was sold! That had to be his name." Cardi explained on how they came up with their son's name

The couple already has a three-year-old daughter Kulture.

According to Mayo clinic, "A tummy tuck— also known asabdominoplasty— is a cosmetic surgical procedure to improve the shape and appearance of the abdomen."

During a tummy tuck, excess skin and fat are removed from the abdomen. Sutures are typically used to tighten the fascia, the connective tissue in the belly. The remaining skin is then moved to give off a toned appearance.

You might choose to have a tummy tuck if you have excess fat or skin around the area of your belly button or a weak lower abdominal wall. A tummy tuck can also boost your body image.

A stomach tuck can tighten weak fascia and remove loose, extra skin and fat.

Stretch marks and extra skin in the lower abdomen beneath the belly button may be removed during a tummy tuck as well. However, a tummy tuck won't correct stretch marks outside of this area.
