Kiss FM presenter Oga Obinna is set to release his debut album, which he says is a cocktail of genres.
Speaking about it, the comedian-cum-radio personality said, "There's RnB, rhumba, dance hall and some Jason Derulo-like vibes in it."
He added that he didn't want to be known by just one genre and that he is yet to get the name of the album.
"I'm considering the names 'Diversity' or 'Experiment'."
Obinna has released his latest single, 'Pause', whose video shooting took him a whole afternoon in a studio set-up.
On how the song was received by fans, Obinna said he is not a big fan of looking at reactions "because I don’t want your reaction, I don’t need it! If you can’t consume it, it’s okay,”
“ The reactions will determine whether I release the next song or not. However, it’s something I am moving away from as it (the need to read comments) has plagued most creatives.”
“In the comment section is where you will find insults, people who don’t know the amount of money you spent on the audio and the video and the time it has consumed in the creation process,
“God gave me talents, and I am putting them to play. Y’all ain’t ready,” he concluded.
