Eddy Kenzo's elder brother, Mande Hassan Kiwalabye was buried on Saturday following his death on Friday morning.
Earlier reports indicated that the singer's brother had been beaten by thugs that left him with broken jaws and fractured ribs.
According to the police, the investigation is still ongoing but reports suggest that the deceased actually fought with a friend named Ronald. The fight took place near Katwe market last Sunday.
Reports say that Ronald took Mande to his house and gave him painkillers before calling the deceased sister when the situation got worse.
Mande was taken to a dental hospital before being taken to Platinum Hospital where he died on Friday at 11AM.
Ronald, has since been on the ran.
The police said 'We shall avail more information on the cause of death as soon as the information is available. Efforts are underway to get Ronald and other eyewitnesses to record statement. Investigation into the matter continue."
Mande was buried on Saturday. His funeral was attended by his celebrity brother Eddy Kenzo, close family and friends and other celebrities'.
