Speaking on the release, Maluda said: "I wrote my song UWEZO when I had COVID. The song is two years old. I was bedridden I thought id die all I could ask was for strength, that's why the song is called Uwezo."
Having worked with Khaligraph Jones, Naiboi and other big names in the industry, Maluda took a two-year music hiatus during the tough pandemic period that was heavy on artists to refocus. He is back bigger and more focused.
