Tanzanian actress Jacqueline Wolper has wedded her lover Richard Samwel Bruno aka Rich Mitindo.
She and the businessman walked down the aisle at St Peters Church in Oysterbay, Dar Es Salaam on Saturday morning.
Speaking to journalists right after the church wedding, Wolper said she was at peace.
"Najiskia furaha, amani, yaani raha tu." (I feel happy and at peace)
"Mimi nawapenda sana, marafiki zangu. Nimekua busy sana kwa hivyo wale wote, waliokua kwenye amgroup wajue tu, tukutane ukumbini." (I love my friends and family. I have been busy recently and I'm urging all those on my groups to join me for the reception tonight)
She advised women who are looking forward to getting married;
"Kila kitu ambacho unakiitaji, ukisimama na Mungu kitatokea. Mshirikieshe Mungu, Usikubali mwanadamu kuwambia hauwezi, usikubali kukatishwa tamaa. Wewe sema tu na Mungu wako."
(Everything that you want, you can get. Stand with God and it shall happen. Don't allow human beings to tell you that you can't, don't allow them to make you give up. Just talk to God.)
Wolper seemed unhappy at the ceremony forcing the journalists to ask whether there was something wrong.
"Najihisi mimi mwenyewe niko excited.' (Myself, I feel excited)
Asked why fellow cerebrities had not attended the church ceremony, she said;
"Watakuwepo, wametoa michango. tunawasiliana, wameshilikiana na mimi katika kila kitu. Tuko wote kwenye group." (They will come to the reception, we are in communication and they have contributed to my wedding, they are also in my Whatsapp groups)
Her reception will go down at the Warehouse, Dar Es Salaam.
