Kenyan music group on the international scene, Matata are set to host their anticipated debut album concert dubbed the super Morio experience at TRM Rooftop, Thika Road on 30th December 2022.
This is Matata’s first performance of their acclaimed hero-anchored 15-track debut album - ‘Super Morio’.
“We have so much support from our fans, the media especially online which means alot to us and equally to the DJs who play our songs,” said one of the members of the group.
The concert will stand out with five Experiential Colour Zones to represent the personalities of Matata members. This experience is set to sync with the concert theme; Super Morio in reference to a hero from the ghetto adversity who is everyday striving to better and bring change to their community. This is derived from ‘Super Morio’ a Kenyan slang for ‘ghetto superhero’.
The line up includes artistes, DJs and MCs namely Wakadinali, Bensoul, Nviiri The Storyteller, Karun, Brandy Maina, Kwambox, DJ Daqchild, Gudah Man, MC Gogo and DJ Munge.
