Stevo Simple has given reasons why he did not perform in Mombasa on Wednesday night. Through his management MIB, Stevo alleged that So Fire Fiesta organizers failed to pay him before he got into stage.

"MIB management takes this initiative to publicly apologize to Stevo Simple Boy's fans who showed up for the event that was dubbed Sofire Fiesta," wrote the management in a statement.

"Stevo Simple Boy could not perform yesterday night as earlier agreed because Sofire Ent refused to owner the agreement by paying the artist before he went on stage. For this reason, we did not see the need of having our artist on stage just to fulfill the organizer's selfish needs."

"We really apologize and are working day in out to ensure that this doesn't happen again. Thank you for your continuous support," the statement concludes."

Simple Boy accompanied the statement with a caption that alleged that he had been mistreated by being locked at the hotel.

SoFire is yet to respond to the accusations made against them by the 'Tuheshimu Ndoa' hitmaker.
