Diamond's sister Esma Khan is tired of being single. The mother of two was reacting to singer Barnaba Classic and his wife. The singer had to change his religion from Christianity to Islam in order to marry her.
Esma yearned for a love like that of Barnaba and his wife.

Esma was previously married but split with her husband barely three months into the union.
She said she might have gotten married too fast.
"Labda nilikurupuka, nilikua na haraka. Sikujipa mda wa kufikiria je, ninayeolewa naye ni sahihi kwangu?" (I was in a hurry, I didn’t give myself time to reflect on the person I was getting married to.)

(It was corona time and I was stressed, when he came, I thought I won a jackpot. I don’t want to make wrong decisions that I had made before.)
"Mimi ni mwanamke nahitaji kuolewa, nahitaji hesima yangu. Kidini, ndoa ni lazima.” (I am a woman who needs to get married, I need my respect back. Religiously, its a must for me to get married)
