Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel known by his stage name Mayorkun is in the country. The 'Holy Father' hitmaker jetted into the country to celebrate his 29th birthday with his Kenyan fans.
The self-proclaimed Mayor Of Lagos spoke to Kalondu Musyimi on his Kenyan visit, thanks to Hennessy.
"Turning 29 feels good, to be honest, I feel the same way I felt when I was 24. I am happy that I am growing and that there is progress."
On what he has learnt the last 12 years, Mayorkun said that "Life is not that hard, do your best and keep on winning."
He described his hit song 'Certified Loner' a personal experience "There are songs you can't make if you don't go through it, that is one of those songs. It happened to me"
He added that the last time he was in Kenya, he was supposed to have a session with Sauti Sol, which didn't happen 'But this time round, I will be linking up with them very soon." he said
