Bongo's baddest rapper, Joh Makini is one hip hop artist who is well known for his hit song Don't Bother featuring South Africa's, AKA.

The celebrated rapper, who likes to keep his life private, spoke to Kiss Fm in an exclusive interview revealing his personal life; from the good to the ugly.

The lad, who is topping charts with his new hit track dubbed Waya, thinks that the Tanzanian and Kenyan music industries are at the same level, but however pointed out that the Bongo music scene seems to be doing better.

When asked about doing a collabo with long time rivals, Ali Kiba and Diamond, Makini said he would be willing to work with them if the lads are ready to hit the music charts with him, adding that he's just a phone call away.

Joh Makini shut down rumours that he has hectic beef with some Tanzanian rappers, dismissing those who are supposedly beefing with him as upcoming musicians who want to gain fame by using his name. Anyway, what's the rap game without beef?!

So, would Joh Makini date a socialite? The rapper, who by the way has great advice for socialites is says these young ladies should find real work. He added that he would do hang out with them, but dating them is a big NO NO. Kukula kwa macho nayo!

Joh is, however, working with several Kenyan artists in his 2017 projects including P-Unit's Bon Eye with their new track Appetite.
