Kenyan rapper Octopizo is not your average hip-hop artiste and has managed to stay on top of his game when it comes to music.

The celebrated rapper recently visited the Kiss FM studios to officially drop his new song dubbed Butere, which is a different feel to what we are used to.

Butere is a patriotic song that appreciates the diverse Kenyan culture and traditions, with instrumentals and dance that represent the Western part of Kenya, as well as showcasing the beautiful sceneries in our country.

I got the chance to interview the celebrated hip-hop crooner, and he was pretty relaxed and easy to talk to and not a snob as some people picture him to be. Oh yeah, and he's real too, he tells it like it is as long as he believes it's the truth.

My interview with the entertainer-cum-UNCHR Youth Ambassador was broad, covering topics to do with his personal life, music career and what I liked about him is that he was honest and open and didn't try to evade any question.

Octopizzo is alleged to be beefing with fellow rapper Khaligraph Jones, and I decided to get it straight from the horses mouth and what it would take for him to do a collabo with him.

I got to ask him other questions that included: The best song he's ever done, if anyone has ever walked in naked on him, his favourite male and female artist and the inspiration behind his new song Butere.

Watch the video below to get all the answers, as I got candid with Octopizzo.
