She is one of the most popular female singers in Africa and there's no doubt that her talent has taken her to great heights in the music industry.

Victoria Kimani has been the talk of the town after she dropped her debut album titled Safari on the 4th of December, 2016, which took her almost a year plus to finish working on.

In the album, the Chocolate City singer has collaborated and worked with several artistes around the world, who include, Kenya's top rapper, King Kaka and Abbas Kubaff, Tanzania's songstress Vanessa Mdee, South Africa's Kuli Chana, Nigeria's Sarkodie and many others.

Victoria Kimani has over the years received a lot of criticism from Kenyans because she has signed a music label in Nigeria, with some of her fans feeling like she has identified with the West African country more, while others feel like her songs are more Nigerian than Kenyan.

The sassy singer has however never let the haters and negative criticism get to her, preferring to focus on her music with several songs under her name while always keeping her private life under wraps.

During her 32nd birthday, Victoria Kimani held a mega party in South Africa, where she celebrated her big day with close family, friends before finally introducing her hunk boyfriend to the world.

The Booty Bounce hitmaker launched the album in Kenya and has since been on a media tour to promote her new album Safari, comprising 15 songs, with some as singles, and others being collaborations.

I had the opportunity to sit down with the beautiful singer, and I have to say despite her celebrity status she is very humble. Other than being talented, Kimani is one stunning and fashion forward woman, who knows how to dress her curvy body.

When I sat down with Victoria Kimani, she was truly excited and humbled for the interview, as she wowed in a short, leather skirt and a beautiful one-shoulder Ankara customized top that embodied the African culture.

During the one on one interview with the musical star, I got to ask Victoria Kimani a lot of questions about her music, what inspired her album name, Safari, her biggest career moment, why she decided to sign a deal with Chocolate City and more.

Victoria Kimani also got to talk about how her parents - who are pastors - reacted when she told them that she wanted to do secular music, and how her veteran rapper brother, Bamboo has influenced her musically.

The gorgeous Mtoto singer is also known for her social media presence especially on Twitter, where she goes ham boldly taking on KOT (Kenyans On Twitter) with very brave tweets, and even taking shots and bashing back haters in the platform.

In regards to that, I had to talk to Kimani about how she goes head to head with KOT and her honest opinion about them and how they would help out the music industry without always throwing shade .

Let's get into the full video below as Victoria Kimani speaks candidly.
