Akothee is one babe who can say and do what she feels like. Your opinion or comment will never stop her.
She had to learn this the hard way. Sharing a TBT picture of herself, she said that back then she was just a calm chic, no lipstick, nothing glamourous but had many problems.
Sadly that is when so many people turned their back on her.
"Yes on the price, confidence vs self-esteem, still no make up ππI love the woman I have become and going πͺπͺWith black I really needed friends, but no one wanted to associate with me, but in white, I am even running away from most of them, when they start the introduction, 'do you remember me? I am so & so' ,then I remembered how badly I needed their advice and help when my marriage hit the rock and I was lost ππππ most of our church members turned their backs on me." Akothee shared
Adding that seeing the church people leave her stranded got her making changes and decisions in her life.
"I even used my family challenges as an example during sermons π , and that's how I left the church and joined the world πππBut I still have tight contact with my God, He never left me alone π, he walked with me even the parts that I thought would lead me to death ππ. I go to church to reunite with God and not to show big cars and new clothesπ. I actually go to churches where no one is driving unless it's visitors. I connect better with them. Some churches are so plastic that you even feel like it's a showroom where people come to show their latest car πͺπͺ.
May God forgive all of you who stand at the door. You don't want to come in but also lock others outside ππ. I do gospel music straight from deep down my heart π and maybe soon. I will cross over π the calling us too heavy, my heart is willing but my body is weak ππ" Akothee concluded
The mother of five has been releasing gospel music and the message is was deeper than some of these songs, gospel artistes in Kenya sing.
