Responding to claims of her husband cheating and impregnating another lady Nigerian, model, presenter, and actress Annie Idibia has finally come out to address the trending rumor.
Taking to her Instagram stories, the “Young, Famous & African” star shared a statement from 2Face’s management debunking the news.
She wrote "as in na since 2014 this supposed 'banker' dey carry de belle ooo lol
just can not with these malicious humans !!!" Accompanying the post with laughing emojis.
Earlier Idibia's music executive and manager Efe Omorogbe, come out to debunk rumors of the star cheating on his wife and fathering a 6th child outside their union.
Efe insisted that there was no hidden meaning in 2face's apology post, denouncing claims that the artist had impregnated a certain banker.
He described the reports that the singer is expecting a baby from another woman as mere rumors
He wrote, “it's understandable for fans, friends, and concerned members of the public to get curious and seek to know why @official2baba posted an apology to his wife @annieidibia, family, and management a few days ago,
we would like to put it on record that the ‘why’ is exactly what was explicitly spelled out in the same post – the pressure of almost a quarter of a century of superstardom, and a wish to focus on making music without the burden of high expectations as a role model." Part of his post read.
Efe went on to add, “reports of him getting anyone pregnant are false and malicious and we urge well-meaning media platforms and members of the public to completely disregard such. It is fake news.”
2Face is married to Nigerian actress Annie Idibia. They are blessed with two children, Isabella and Olivia.
During their Netflix reality show, Annie revealed that they met before the fame and money but the couple's first child is 2Face Idibia's fifth child.
If the rumors are true, the newborn will be Idibia's eighth child but his sixth child out of wedlock.
