Well it seems Rihanna's baby daddy ( not sure if their proposal was legit so we're not calling him fiance) American rapper Asap Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, is in some hot soup.
Asap is currently facing criminal charges for an alleged shooting that took place in Hollywood, where the ' Praise The Lord' hit maker was accused of opening fire and firing multiple shots at his former friend.
The charges come in just three months after him and billionaire beauty mogul girlfriend Rihanna welcomed their first child together, a bouncing baby boy.
Back in November, Rocky was accused of pointing a gun at a man during a heated argument and while the two confronted each other, the 33-year-old pulled the trigger and fired two shots in the direction of the alleged victim who sustained minor injuries.
Well, now it seems following probing to the case Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon has finally released a statement announcing that his office is officially charging the award winning rapper with two accounts of assault with a semi automatic firearm.
Announcing the ruling, D.A George said, “discharging a gun in a public place is a serious offense that could have ended with tragic consequences not only for the person targeted but also for innocent bystanders visiting Hollywood,”
The rapper, three months ago had been arrested at LAX by Los Angeles Police Department who had been waiting for him soon as he landed on his way back from Barbados with his private jet with girlfriend Riri.
He was however released shortly after on a $550,000 bail ( roughly 65.7 million Kenyan Shillings) in connection to the shooting.
Terell Ephron, a former associate of Rocky, identified himself as the victim and sued Rocky last week in Los Angeles County Superior Court, alleging assault and battery, negligence and emotional distress.
Rocky is slated to be arraigned Wednesday in a downtown L.A. courtroom.
