Atlanta-based-Tanzanian musician Vanessa Mdee and actor Rotimi are celebrating their son, Seven Adeoluwa Akinosho, first birthday.
The two threw a lavish party for the birthday boy with a 'safari' theme.
The 'Niroge' hitmaker shared a video of her and Seven, singing along to Nigerian singer Nathaniel Bassey's song, 'See what the Lord has done.'
"See what the Lord has done 🙏🏽🎉✨ Seven is 1 - and it feels like you just got here. My baby, you’re a divine gift and I am honored to be your Mama," she captioned the video
"Thank you for being our biggest blessing. No long speech 🎤 just a moment of worship, and prayer, that we can continue to give GOD the glory for your life always. I love you with all of me for as long as I live my Bobo. Happy 1st Birthday," Vanessa added.
Rotimi, on the other hand, shared a cute video of him and Seven captioning it;
"1 🎉 from the day I first held you to 1 year later. Nothing will ever change in how much I love you. I’ll always hold you with this much love even when you are big as heaven 🕊 happy birthday, son. It’s only fitting that your birthday is on national sons' day."
Rotimi and Vanessa Mdee's Mansions
Three weeks ago, Mdee was again in the headlines, showing off her new mansion.
She stated in a post that the new mansion was constructed entirely from scratch and is now available for rental.
“This investment life is great ✨ GOD WE GIVE YOU THE GLORY ✨ Another one of our homes, built from the ground up, furnished and ready to make money 💰,” Vanessa Mdee shared.
The singer offered a short video sneak peek of their new home, showcasing its interior while urging those in need to rent it out.
In recent months, Vanessa Mdee and Rotimi have purchased three mansions, including this one.

Vanessa and the actor bought their second Mansion in June. The couple revealed in an update that they are content to grow their empire by acquiring new properties.
The two also shared a little exciting dance to crown the occasion after buying their second house.
