Kenyan singer and entrepreneur Akothee aka madam boss lady has just announced that she will be hosting a " Puppy shower" for one of her dogs, Salome who is currently pregnant.
I do not know what is happening with our celebrities and who has encultured them into this lifestyle but no, it is getting out of hand.
The mother of 5 took to her Instagram to post a cute picture of her dog leisurely laying on the lawn enjoying the sun.
She then went ahead to let the public know that the dog was pregnant and she was planning on throwing a party for it over the weekend.
" Our Salome is heavily pregnant, Salome's baby shower on Sunday who is coming with her / his dogs? 🙏💋" Akothee's post read.
A shower for a dog?
It kinda feels like a sort of competition now.
From Gloria Kyallo hosting a lavish puppy shower for her dog, she even dressed it in a pink tutu skirt, to Kamene Goro preparing to host a first birthday for her puppy and Sandra Mbuvi sharing her crazy over-the-top menu/ lifestyle for her dogs.
Also, it is funny no one has ever thought of introducing the father of their dog's puppies by having them at the shower as well.
I mean since you want to act like they're human then why not go all out?
Well, Kenyans could just not resist chancing to offer their unsolicited remarks.
They took to the comment section to share that they did not believe Akothee as the artist a while back had shared that her dog had been unwell and had had to have her uterus removed.
