Nigerian artist David Adedeji Adeleke popularly known as Davido revealed he is getting his baby mama Chioma Rowland a new G-wagon to celebrate their reunion.
It's now evidently clear that the two are back together after their split back in 2021.
Davido has decided to demonstrate to the mother of his son that he's grateful for a second chance.
A celebrity auto dealer, known as Adesuwa Renee (@Renee5star), shared the news on her Instagram page.
She shared a screenshot of her conversation with Davido as he ordered the G-Wagon for his fiancée.
Sharing a screenshot of her chat with the singer, Renee wrote: “Davido strikes again. This goes over choke. Happiness is what we got on this side. Your celebrity car dealer is ready to deliver again.”
Davido texted the car dealer, " hey need g-wagon for Chi..." as the conversation went on to specifications.
The dealer then went ahead to share a video of the Mercedes G-wagon that she'd acquired for the "If" hit-maker. Davido commented on the video with an emoji confirming the news.
The gift comes in shortly as Davido confirmed he'd be walking down the aisle with his lover Chioma come 2023.
The 'Assurance' hit-maker said this when he took Chioma to a UK-based Nigerian pastor known as, Tobi Adegboyega.
In a video shared online, the pastor is heard saying that Chioma is Davido's real wife,
“Our wife, our real wife,” he said while pointing at Chioma
Davido confirmed by saying “Hundred percent, going down, 2023.”
Davido and Chioma started dating in 2017 but only announced it to the world in 2018. They held their introduction ceremony in 2019 and had planned to do their white wedding in July 2020 but the covid-19 pandemic halted the plans.
The two met in school. "My friend used to date his friend," Chioma said in a past interview.
The two were rumoured to have split in 2021 when the singer was seen holidaying with an Instagram model in The Caribbean.
