Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's already rocky relationship has taken the tabloids once more after Kim made it public that she has hired extra security to protect her kids from her ex-husband.
The decision comes after West made it known several times, through his many online rants, the name of their children's private school.
Kim is allegedly footing the bill for the increased protective measures, which are being taken to prevent strangers from showing up at the school and potentially harming the Kardashian-West children.
The SKIMS founder shares four kids with the self-proclaimed musical genius: North, 9, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3.
In one of many of Kanye West's infamous Twitter rants, the artist vented about the fact that Kim doesn’t want their children to attend his newly opened Donda Academy full-time.
The business mogul maintains that she much rather prefers their children to attend their current school for their daily education, and is fine with them attending West’s “school” for extracurricular activities.
It is no secret that these two have, for the most part, held opposing views on most matters concerning their relationship; hence why they are no longer together.
On December 10, 2021, TMZ reported that Kim had legally filed to become single despite Kanye's pleas to win her back.
Kim also asked that her maiden name, Kardashian, be reinstated, and to drop "West" from her name.
All of this happened a month after Kanye West's public rant while at his charity mission in Los Angeles (L.A).
On November 24, 2021, Kanye went to deliver meals to families at the L.A. Mission just before the Thanksgiving holiday.
While at the event, the 'Knock You Down' hitmaker saw his chance and grabbed a mic, and in grandiose Kanye fashion, he proceeded to proclaim his love for his ex-wife.
"And all these relationships... we've made mistakes, I've made mistakes I've publicly done things that were not acceptable as a husband."
He went on to say he believes that "The Kingdom" will bring him and Kim back together - clearly that was not the case.
