First Lady Rachel Ruto and her youngest son George appear to have a special bond.
Several cute pictures of their mother and son moment have captured hearts, with Kenyans expressing how loving Rachel Ruto is to her children.
Mama Rachel was on Sunday invited to fellowship with the fraternity at Mary Hills Girls High School and George went with his mum for the Thanksgiving mass.
Writing on her Twitter account she noted,
"To invest in our future, we must invest in our children. For us to be prosperous in years to come, we must instill the right values in our children today."
She went on to add,
"It was a pleasure to commune with the fraternity of Maryhill Girls High School, Kiambu County during a Thanksgiving Mass."
Previously, George had gone viral after cutting off his trademark shaggy Afro hairstyle.
KOT noticed the new look when he accompanied his parents for their first thanksgiving in State House.
The first time we publicly heard President Ruto comment about George's hair was in 2017 when the family was leaving for a function. Ruto looked at his youngest and said
“Na hii nywele si ni mob. Hii nywele si ni mingi? (And this hair, isn’t it a lot?)” he asked amidst laughter.
George had also spotted a different look in terms of clothes. He wore a suit as opposed to his usual casual clothes.
Even dad William Ruto helped adjust his tie as he checked out his wonderful son.
The photos have also elicited memes about what the two could have possibly been discussing and laughing about.
The speculation about what George was showing the First lady was perfectly encapsulated by KOT @mukiri_pin who wrote, "Mama, Safaricom has just switched your line off".
