Singer Nadia Mukami will be turning a year older in three weeks . She will be 26.
As she anticipates her born day, the musician has a new hairdo. Nadia has cut off her hair, and at the same time hit the gym to get back to her pre baby weight of 60kgs.
"Oh oh so that happened. So I shaved my head because of lactation. whenever I breastfeed my hair falls off."
She added;
"My hair imepotea, the hairline was not hair lining."
According to experts, increased hair shedding is common during the breastfeeding and postpartum period.
Changing hormone levels cause the shedding. Falling estrogen levels can make hair seem thinner or shed excessively.
It is typical for people to experience hair loss or excessive shedding during the breastfeeding and postpartum stage.
The Kai Wangu singer explained her struggle with baby weight and the hard decision she made to get back to her pre baby weight.
"Still at it!!! 60kgs is the goaaaaal!!!"
Nadia and her boyfriend singer Arrow Bwoy welcomed a baby boy earlier this year.
She also declared to an enquiry from a fan about her pace saying; "Thank you dear, it's not easy"
A fan encouraged her to go hard and reach her goal
