Mariana Varela, Miss Argentina 2020, and Fabiola Valentin, Miss Puerto Rico 2020, have revealed to the world that they wed last month after keeping their romance a secret.
The duo has been uploading images of themselves hanging out together on social media, but they haven't indicated that their relationship goes beyond that of acquaintances.
In a joint Instagram post, the newlyweds said: "After deciding to keep our relationship private, we opened the doors to them on a special day 28/10/22."
Videos and images of the couple traveling together were featured in the 30-second video post they made with their unexpected news, along with their engagement and wedding rings.
Following the news, the two beauty queens received support from their fellow contestants as well as expressions of congratulations from shared friends.
The couple met while competing in the pageant, according to Abena Appiah, a mutual acquaintance who went on to win Miss Grand International in 2020.

After posting the announcement, their fellow beauty queens plus mutual friends shared their support and congratulatory messages to the two beauty queens.
One mutual friend Abena Appiah, who won the Miss Grand International beauty pageant in 2020, commented that the couple had met while competing in the pageant.
