TV personality Catherine Kasavuli says October was tough for her as she thanked her friends who came out in large numbers to donate blood for her.
Kasavuli who is currently recuperating at Kenyatta National Hospital said she is hopeful that she will come out strong.
Kasavuli is allegedly fighting cancer and she said her journey will be an inspiration to many other people.
"Last month has been crazy for me, I want to take this moment and appreciate my family, colleagues in the media industry, the Catherine Kasavuli Foundation team, my doctors, friends, strangers, and online community," she said.
Kasavuli added that she could not respond to all your messages but she sees them and is humbled.
Her fans and friends are also contributing to her medical bill.
"To special people that have come forth to donate blood may God bless you, may he enrich your beautiful souls, may He meet with the desires of your heart.
To special souls that are contributing towards my medical bill, I love you so much and God bless you.
It's not an easy journey but I believe in God's faithfulness and breakthrough.
To anyone fighting the same struggle - I love you, we shall overcome, life is a beautiful thing and we shall live to tell our stories. God bless you."
Catherine Kasavuli is one of the pioneer TV Journalists who is celebrated across the country for her contribution to the Media Industry.
She was recently hired by the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation to serve as one of their news anchors in their latest recruitment aimed at revamping the Media House.
Catherine has taken a four months break and returned to her Instagram in October.
