Content creator Pritty Vishy got overly emotional as she opened up on her struggles having been born and raised in a humble background.

The 21-year-old couldn't help but choke up as she reminisced over how hard life had been and how proud she was of herself to have made it out of the slums.

"I'm proud of myself... I'm proud to be the first in my family to leave Kibera my grandma and my mum were both born and raised in Kibera but I changed that narrative for myself.

This year I moved out of Kibera a few months ago and I'm super grateful," Vishy said proudly in an interview with Mwende Mcaharia.

Vishy opened up on how besides being able to leave the slums, she'd broken another generational curse, being the first girl on her mum's side of the family to not only finish high school but also not fall pregnant at a young age.

"I'm the first girl on my mom's side of the family to actually finish high school and I'm not pregnant.

I'm a walking miracle

"You know my mom got me when she was 14 years, her sister's none of them has ever finished school. Mtu anafika form 2 or form 3 then boom gets pregnant," narrated the 21-year-old.

Vishy highlighted how proud her mom was of her for accomplishing such a feat and breaking a generational curse.

"My mum always says even though she doesn't agree with me sometimes, she is super proud of me because of all I have been able to achieve.

She loves the fact that I have proved people wrong and I'm the only grandchild that has finished high school.

She always reminds me that she wouldn't be where she is if it weren't for me, " Vishy revealed.

The content creator also revealed that she had lost all her family members save her mum (with whom they also have disagreements here and there) due to her online remarks and revealing details of her life.

" Fame has taught me a lot of things.... through that now I don't have a family. You know family ... family, the one that I had ditched me.

They disowned me because they were complaining I go to social media talking things, giving details oohh wababa sijui nini and I was like is it not my life?" Vishy revealed.
