This in English is translated to;

"You who protect my head when in battle speak for the work that you have given me. I am a blunt object whom you have entrusted to spread your word.

"I was so hard-pressed that I would die, but Jesus saved me, and because all of us are seekers of eternal life you didn't call me because I am perfect. I am a blunt object that you have entrusted to spread your gospel."

She goes on to sing;

Naguo riri ûthogoragîrwo mbara ini Ngereirio mwaki ini na ndûninûkîtie na tondu ndîraikarîire tha ini ciaku Ndûrîria Thaha waku ngûtungatîre Ndîo rûhiû rûtuhu wîhokeire ndûmîrîri.."

(I was highly pressured so I can die but God became my savior and because all of us seek life you didn't call me because I was qualified

And because Glory is fought for in battle I have passed through fire and I haven't been consumed because I depended on your mercies. Enable me to serve you)

She goes on; "Andû aitû tûngîkiuga atî tûtirî ehia No tûgîtuire Ngai wa maheni Indi no gûtherio tutheragio ooooi muthenya Nginya tugakinya gîtî ini gia ciira Ndîo rûhiû rûtuhu wîhokeire ndûmîrîri.

(If we people say we are not sinners, we would term you an untruthful God. We are cleansed day by day until we reach judgment day)

"Ûgithii waugire watûtigîra mûteithia na kîrigîrîrio gî Bata gwî kiamburiria gîtumbire ngoro itakîrî na gîko Niguo rûgetiria mûthî wa ciira ndîo rûhiû rûtuhu wîhokeire ndûmîrîri."

(As you were leaving you left us a helper. The ending is better than the beginning. create for us a clean heart that shall stand for itself on judgment day)

"Wee ûgitagîra mûtwe Wakwa mbara ini Arîrîria wira ûrûa wee waheire Ndîo rûhiû rûtuhu wîhokeire ndûmîrîri...."

Mary noted how merciful God is;

"I have been in a big fight from all sides, you have protected my head in war. I am a blunt panga seeking direction. I passed through fire but it hasn't finished me because I was sitting on your mercies keep your mercies upon me so that I can serve you."

"Andû aitû tûngîkiuga atî tûtirî ehia No tûgîtuire Ngai wa maheni."

(If my people say that we are sinners we make him seem a God of lies.

We are cleaned every day until the day we get to the seat of judgment. When you were leaving us you said you have left us a savior)
