Award-winning Kenyan Boy band Sauti Sol, has announced December 17th as the official date for the 2022 Sol Fest.
The event will go down at The Fox Drive Inn along the Thika Super Highway from as early as 12 PM till late.
The concert will feature performances from Sol Generation artists Nviiri and Bensoul and Sauti Sol's band.
This being the second edition of the Sol Fest two-day concert, the band has revealed other artists that will be gracing the event with live performances.
Artists such as Buruklyn boyz, Matata, Nadia Mukami, and Octopizzo have made it to the list.
The chart-topping quartet made the news public, referring to the chosen renowned hitmakers as the "Sol Fest class of 2022.”
Ongoing activities at Hustle Sasa, the money-making mobile platform Sauti Sol is using to sell their tickets indicate that an Early Bird ticket will cost Sh2, 500 (and are already done) while Golden Circle Tickets will go for Sh4, 500 and VIP Couples tickets sell at Sh17, 500.
Sauti Sol is a Kenyan band formed in Nairobi, Kenya, by vocalists Bien-Aimé Baraza, Willis Chimano, and Savara Mudigi in 2005.
Initially an Acappella group, guitarist Polycarp Otieno joined before they named themselves Sauti Sol.
The band has had several successful tours in Africa and Europe.
They have made it to the top of Kenyan musical charts, and have gained international attention with shows in Europe and the US, as well as television appearances and various accolades and nominations.
Kenyans are really anticipating this event as the revealed list of musicians performing is basically their favourite.
This is evident as numbers don't lie, and their subscribers and views on Youtube skyrocket once they premier a song.
