Years after announcing her exit from the music industry, Vanessa Mdee is making a new career move.

She quit music announcing it is demonic, on her podcast Quick dive in 2020.

“The reason why I have to leave the industry is that I needed to choose my life, the music industry is demonic,” Vanessa said in the podcast.

“Now my fans are probably asking themselves right now ‘are you gonna never sing again? Are we never gonna see you perform?’ Let me reiterate. I love music, I love to create, and I love to perform. I’m a vessel. This is what I was brought on earth to be, but maybe I was a vessel to be here in this moment to have gone through everything that I have gone through so that I can tell you most honestly the truth about things you will never hear somewhere else,” she explained herself further.

The bongo singer took to her social media Tuesday, December 13, with exciting news about her new job.She will be doing voice art production.

"I thank God for all my skills and the years God was training me for the future. 5 yrs as an on-air personality and producer taught me so much about voice art and production"

A video for voice editing accompanied the message.

It will be interesting to see her reveal her studios when she is ready for the big reveal. Vanessa was a radio presenter on Tanzania’s only English radio station, Choice FM.

Her production skills also became clear when she became an MTV Base VJ in 2007.

This was followed by hosting TV shows Epic Bongo Star Search and Dume Challenge for ITV Tanzania among other popular shows.
