CNN journalist, Larry Madowo is happy after meeting former defender of the Manchester United team, Rio Ferdinand in one of the stadiums used to organize the World Cup in Qatar.
Madowo enjoyed a good time with the former player and did not hesitate to share the news on his social media pages where he said meeting someone he used to watch on TV was like making his dream come true.
He also advised men that if your girlfriend doesn't know who Rio Ferdinand is, then you as a man know that she is too young and not fit to be your girlfriend.
"I met Rio Ferdinand before the match between France and Morocco. If she doesn't know who Rio is, she's too young for you bro!” Madowo said.
His supporters who were die-hard fans of football and the premier English EPL mentioned Ferdinand in various memories while asking Madowo to send his greetings.
"This reminds me of when Manchester was Manchester United...this is crazy...Rio Ferdinand is a very lucky man," Mbaya Ken wrote.
"We know the legend of Man U very well, help me ask him if he remembers Gareth Balami and who is Man City?" Collins Anderson asked.
Others analyzed his statement and said that if they find lovers who don't know Ferdinand, they might forgive them but they can't forgive them if they don't know Messi.
