King Kaka's wife Nana Owiti has taken to her socials to share the difficult moments she went through when her husband suffered a long illness between late 2021 and early 2022.
Sharing a photo of King Kaka looking unwell and with a bandage, over his arm, the mother of two went on to share how seeing the photo and how far her husband has come along made her cry.
"On my phone memories, this pic just made an appearance, and my God! Let’s just say, I shed a tear.
Why am I lying? I cried and ‘crode’. Forgive my massacre to the Queen’s language. Gai! Look at that bucket hat and how big it was(he would wear those mostly to mask his predicament. To avoid questions and try to look normal,' Nana started by giving a recount of the struggles the rapper went through.
She went on to add that in the above photo they had just left the hospital but it still wasn't a walk in the park as her husband could barely sit for more than 3 minutes.
"We had just left the hospital here so as you can imagine, the days and nights prior to this were longer.. @thekingkaka could barely sit on this chair for 3 minutes.
His bones were feeble. Man! I don’t know about you but I know God exists because we experienced His love, he touched our hands and we saw His face all in His own timing." A thankful Nana Owiti shared.
She finished off by encouraging her fans/followers to have patience and faith in whatever they were going through highlighting that there is mostly always a light at the end of the tunnel.
"Anyway, Please Hang in there if you are going through a tough time. It shall pass.
As I always say, stop trying to calm the storm... It’s impossible. Calm yourself and the storm will pass. I love you guys 💕" The last on Nana's post read.
Replying to his wife's post the artist wrote, "thekingkaka: God is love and Thank you for showing me what Love and God is."
