In today's Morning Kiss Conversation, Oga Obinna revealed that he does not know when he spoke to his father last.
This was after Xtian Dela's mother, Naomi Nyongesa, a very well know Gospel artist, pleaded for her son to connect with her after four years of him cutting off the family.
The situation led Kwamboka to pose a question, how close is one with their parents?
To which Obinna answered, "I don't remember the last time I spoke to my dad. I don't miss him."
But for his mother, they do not go a day without speaking "She is my personal person."
Kwamboka on the other hand is solid with her parents and at least speaks to them on a day-to-day basis.
In the comment section, some netizens could be seen to have gone through the same emotional roller-coaster as Obinna.
"Mine was ten good years, from 2010 to 2020. Last December I tried my best to force issues and go visit her, it only regretted, it is good to distance yourself from toxic parents, and toxic relatives for peace of mind," Rhoda Makena shared.
In the video that went viral Naomi gave her side of the story to which Xtian later on responded.
Naomi shared that his son started keeping his distance in the year 2019.
She never heard from him since then and when she tried to make contact she found out she was blocked.
With so much pain, she narrated how it is painful for a mother to stay so long without talking to his son.
The lady apologized for being emotional, she was not expecting to feel that overwhelmed.
In Xtian's response, he explained that his mother's toxic behavior is the reason why he left.
He was neglected together with his siblings and he claimed that the plea was just a way of her getting attention.
The question is, what is the best way to go about toxicity within the family before cutting off has to be the last result?
