Sonko makes mouth-watering offer to TikToker after Jeff Mwathi's death analysis

The former governor shared that he was impressed by the content creator's investigative skills

Former Nairobi governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko has offered TikTok sensational content creator Kare Maina a job at his private firm due to her trending video of her detailed analysis of Jeff Mwathi's death.

If you have not yet seen the video, the digital content creator shares a notebook where she has detailed all the information that has been shared online till now.

She goes on to dissect the timelines as well as statements issued as she maintains that, "the math is not mathing."


The video has gathered over 1.3 million views, 85.2 thousand likes, over 3800 comments and has been shared over 3500 times.

Even with all the details laid out in pen and paper, the young lady maintains that there are so many gaps in the puzzle. Joining in the online uproar calling for Justice for the young interior designer who died mysteriously, Kare captioned the video, "more questions than answers..."

Taking to his social media Sonko commended Maina for CIA-like skills in trying to piece together the last moments of the 23-year-old who died under unclear circumstances while at popular Kikuyu artiste DJ Fatxo's apartment. 


Sonko gave thumbs up to the TikToker's detailed analysis that rivalled the DCI's, heaping praises on her investigative skills as he offered her a job at his private investigations firm 

"This lady ni mnoma sana kwa investigations nitamchukua kwa my private investigation firm," Sonko revealed.

And according to the comment section, the politician was not the only one pleased with Kare's analysis and scrutiny in trying to find answers to this case that has left many baffled.

Netizens were equally impressed with her deep analysis of the timeline before the death of Jeff Mwathi was reported and her detailed scrutiny of witness testimonies has seen netizens call on the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) to hire her.

The young man was said to have committed suicide but his family disputes this theory. Jeff Mwathi, was laid to rest Tuesday, March 7.

It is claimed that Jeff jumped to his death on February 22, after a night out.

 Jeff, Fatxo, and others were hanging out in various establishments before they left for the Kikuyu DJ's home. CCTV footage shows that in the wee hours of the morning, two men exited the apartment to the parking, where they seem to be looking around.

One of the men alleged to be the Dj's cousin was also seen making a call and then Jeff fell from the window. His body was reportedly found with his trousers past his knees.
