Kenyan veteran artist David Mathenge popularly known as Nameless has shared a heartfelt post eulogizing his late friend and fellow artist E-sir 20 years after his passing.

Nameless and E-sir were practically like Sauti Sol back in the early 20's, they weren't a band but they were friends and released several hit songs together.

Sadly E-sir's life was cut short after he was involved in a tragic road accident back in March 2003, while returning to Nairobi from a concert in Nakuru.

The young star was only 22 years old and doing remarkably so well in the music industry.

Remembering his late friend Nameless penned a post thanking E-sir for the role he played in his life and musical career.

"It's been 20 years since you left us on that fateful 16th March morning! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿ˜”...Bro, Thank you for helping me see what true synergy and authentic friendship feels like...our mutual respect produced amazing result that has lasted generations..." The first part of Nameless's post read.

The father of 3 went on to add, "you are an inspiration to many and your life and work has had a lasting impact on me and our industry...

Keep Resting well my friend! You are forever in my heart!"

He finished off his post by asking his over 1.6 million fans and followers to comment on the post letting him know their favourite song of the late E-sir as he called on all who loved the late artist from years back to show him, love, as they celebrated his 20th anniversary.

"Fam, what was your favourite Esir Song as we show some 20 year love to South C's Finest. #20yearEsirAnniversary #EsirHatuchekiNaWatu #SouthCsFinest." The last of Nameless's post read.
