American rapper Daniel Hernandez popularly known by his stage name Tekashi 6ix9ine is finally addressing his L.A gym beatdown for the first time since it happened about a week ago.

The 26-year-old took to his Instagram page a day after it was revealed that his attackers had been arrested to show his still bruised face and bloody eye while taking shots at his attackers terming the move as "nothing but cowardly."

Sharing several jaw-dropping videos of his assault and the aftermath including him being wheeled to the hospital the "Trollz" hitmaker revealed that walking around without security wasn't a slip as he's been without his detail for 2 years

"For 2 years I been walking around with no security. Not saying I promote that BUT now you see I really never hid from anything. If you ever crossed my path or ever came to my house (you girls know who you are) you can tell the world: 'Danny drives his own cars and be solo'' Said the rapper.

Further, he noted "you know how many of you people seen me in real life by myself in gas stations, supermarkets, restaurants, etc. Anyway what happened  here was nothing but cowardly."

He went on to add that he wasn't exactly mad that he'd gotten jumped because according to him in the streets there are no rules.

Tekashi however argued that the fight hadn't been a fair one."I'm not mad this happened. In the street there's no rules so I cant say they were wrong. Obviously it wasn't fair but again the streets has no rules.'

Not done with the situation he went on to take shots at one of the men arrested whom  police just announced is a known gang member adding that he's forever considered jumping people a losers move.

"Just imagine having nothing to do to with a situation and feel obligated to make it your business. (Very weird)' I'm happy to be here still. P.S : I never knew we respected jumping people. When did that ever become a W???" The rapper cryptically wrote insinuating there were issues going on the down-low.

The rap star concluded by sending love to his fans, "And I want to say I love my fans. Thank you."

In addition to providing footage of his bruised and scratched face, the 26-year-old rapper uploaded footage of him being wheeled around the hospital and seemingly undergoing an MRI.

He captioned the post, "HEY GUYS. I'M BACK THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO CALLED AND REACHED OUT. I LOVE YOU GUYS FOREAL."

Forever the promoter the rainbow-haired rapper also took the moment to tease clips from his new music video which began with him opening his eyes to reveal the subconjunctival hemorrhage (SCH) in his left eye.

Despite putting his wounds and cuts on full display, the star's comment section was flooded by trolls asking the performer if his beatdown was 'staged' or 'faked' for publicity.
