NBA superstar LeBron James is sending his thoughts and prayers to award-winning actor, singer, and comedian Jamie Foxx after the 55-year-old actor suffered a medical emergency earlier this week.
The Oscar-winning actor was rushed to the hospital after suffering a medical emergency while filming a new Netflix movie in Atlanta, Georgia.
Foxx was shooting a movie dubbed "Back in Action" alongside fellow famed actresses Glenn Close and Cameron Diaz, shortly before he had to go missing in action from the set.
He was hospitalized on Tuesday with what has been reported only as a serious medical issue.
Taking to his official Twitter account King James who's preparing for the Memphis Grizzlies playoff series penned a heartfelt message to his buddy after hearing about the actor's health scare.
"Sending my thoughts and prayers to the heavens above to my brother @iamjamiefoxx!!!!" the Lakers star tweeted before adding his wishes for Jamie to get better.
"Get well and back to yourself SOONER THAN LATER! God willing 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽✨✨✨✨✨✨♥" The rest of Lebron's message read.
Besides King James, former NFL star-turned-rapper Antonio Brown also sent well wishes to Foxx.
"Pray For Jamie Fox. Overly Love." Antonia wrote.
According to multiple reports, the actor was hospitalized due to an unnamed medical condition that saw him bedridden. News surrounding what is ailing him has been kept on lock and key.

However, his daughter Corinne Foxx did address the public trying to give some insight into her father's health. Without giving a lot of details she shared on her official Instagram page that her father had experienced a “Medical complication,” adding that he is “On his way to recovery.”
She, however, didn't give any additional information as to what had the veteran actor hospitalized. Corinne just maintained that her father was receiving "great care" and is now on the mend.
The 29-year-old went on to ask netizens to respect their privacy during this time all while thanking the public for their prayers and good wishes.
"We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time." Part of her Instagram post read.
It's unclear exactly how Jamie came to discover the still unspecified complication, or if he was experiencing symptoms that prompted him to head to the hospital mid-shooting.
The production house and his co-stars have remained tight-lipped about how long Jamie will need to remain in the hospital, or if and when he'll be able to return to working on the movie.
Reports however indicate that Foxx had about 8 days of shooting left, however, there are contradicting reports with some media houses reporting that they've gotten word the film will wrap up next week.
Guess we'll just have to wait and see, either way, we're wishing Jamie a quick recovery.
