Kenyan recording and performing artist Trio Mio has just revealed he was robbed at gunpoint in the wee hours of Thursday morning.
The rapper apparently lost two phones and the robbers took off with his car keys as well.
Speaking about the incident the 18-year-old said it had been a traumatizing ordeal for him as the robbers actually recognized him which led him to believe it must have been premeditated.
"Manze guys hii kitu ni for real, nilikuwa nimetoka studio nika decide wacha nipitie mtaani.
Sahii ni kitu midnight au 1:00 am hapo, nikapatana na squad ya mtu tatu, wawili wakashuka alafu wakanigotea like 'Trio niaje' mimi nikasalimika tu then turned kungangana kufunga mlango ya gari coz kuna vile huwa inasumbua kidogo," started off the 'Cheza Kama Wewe' hit maker.
He went on to reveal he didn't think much about the guys saying hey to him so he turned his back focusing on locking his car door, his biggest mistake he recollects.

"Vile niliturn hivi, napatana na msee ametoa gun na beshte yake ameshika panga and then the guy on the lookout had packed a few steps from where we were at.
They cocked the gun and pushed it towards my stomach, the guy told me if I dared to make a sound or resist he wouldn't hesitate to unload the guy on me," the artist emotionally recalled.
He went on to add that there was a security guard on the post who heard the commotion but couldn't help as the moment he peeped out, the guy wielding the gun aimed it at the security guard and threatened his life.
"Aliinua gun and pointed it at the watchie akamshow, jaribu kutoka uone, nimesema jaribu kutoka," Trio recounted the traumatic experience.
The guy then turned the gun back to Trio's abdomen as they launched their demands.
"Wakanipora simu zangu mbili na funguo za gari, mimi ata nilikuwa ready kuwatolea hizi nguo nibaki na boxer. I was like ata kama ni hizi viatu mnataka chukueni, hakuna kitu ningefanya.
They had a gun to my stomach and I had heard him cock it" The 18-year-old recounted how scared he was for his life as the moment could have turned ugly any minute.
