Former tennis champion Serena Williams had her fans and friends swooning after she debut being pregnant with her second baby on the red carpet of the 2023 MET Gala.
The 39 major titles holder rocked the star-studded red carpet in a form-fitting black mermaid-shape gown with a white tulle skirt.
The dress had sheer black long sleeves with white cuffs, as well as crystal embellishments in a geometric pattern around the skirt.
Serena's Gucci black and white serpentine gown also had a cropped jacket to match, and the accessories were plenty of pearl necklaces and a headband decorated with pearls as well.
“I’m feeling good. I can breathe. I can stop not hiding," Serena gushed on her way inside the Metropolitan Museum of Art, joking about her big plans to “not drink.”
The 41-year-old pro tennis superstar also shared the news on her Instagram page.
Sharing a picture of her and her Reddit co-founder husband Alexis Ohanian she captioned the photo "was so excited when Dame Anna Wintour invited the 3 of us to the Met Gala," with a list of outfit, hair, and makeup details for the Met Gala.
In another picture (where she is by herself) she is seen holding her baby bump lovingly as she looks directly into the camera.
The pair, who wed in November 2017, are already parents to 5-year-old daughter Olympia who turns 6 in September.
News of Williams' pregnancy comes after she shared a first-person essay for Vogue last year about her decision to begin an "evolution" away from tennis and her hopes of adding another little one to her family of three.
