American actor, entrepreneur, singer, and TV host Nick Cannon has just revealed that he did a terribly huge mistake over the weekend as the world at large marked International Mother's Day.
During an episode of his new radio show The Daily Cannon the father of 12 admitted that he had gotten his baby mama's mixed up while sending out Mother's Day gifts.
I mean with 6 different baby mama's anyone is bound to get things mixed up I reckon.
According to the artist he'd decided to be different this year and instead of buying fancy gifts, he opted for a more romantic gesture.... handwritten cards.
Nick saw it fit to pen down thoughtful appreciatory messages in cute cards and send them out, but things got a little messy for him.
“I tried my best, I really did,” started off the Wild N Out host. I really hope he hadn't gone all too personal with the cards or told anyone they are his favourite.
He went on to add, "To show people how you really feel, write it down. And I was doing handwritten messages from the heart.
So then as I’m writing the handwritten message, I get the cards mixed up. And then so when one baby mama reads the card about how I feel about the other baby mama…” said Nick as he trailed off letting us imagine what transpired next.
Nick added that he truly feels if he had kept things old school and just sent out packages to everyone he wouldn't have gotten himself in any trouble at all.
“See if I would just got some generic s–t that everybody else got, that wouldn’t have happened.” Said the 42-year-old.
Ironically, Nick was narrating this to one of his baby mamas... the talented Abby De La Rosa who besides being the mother of his now almost 2-year-old twins Zion and Zillion and 6-month-old daughter happens to be one his co-host in the radio show alongside Courtney Bee Bledsoe, Mason Moussette.
Luckily she wasn't one of those baby mamas who received the wrong card as she was surprised by the revelation. Abby let out an audible "wow" from her microphone as Nick narrated his woes.
However, his co-host Courtney Bee wasn't letting him off easily she clearly pointed out that it was Nick's fault.
"No, if you would have focused, that wouldn't have happened," Bee told him.
Besides the kids he has with Abby America's father Abraham also shares 12-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with ex-wife Mariah Carey; 6-year-old Golden Sagon, 2-year-old Powerful Queen, and 7-month-old baby Rise with Brittany Bell.
10-month-old Legendary Love with Bre Tiesi; and 7-month-old Onyx Ice with LaNisha Cole.
Last year December (2022), he welcomed little Halo Marie with Alyssa Scott, one year after losing their son Zen to brain cancer.
