Kenyan recording and performing artist Jovial has come out to defend her new relationship and dispel rumours that she is financially keeping her new man.

Jovial in an Instagram live session heaped praises on her new man claiming that he spoils her to the core adding that sometimes she even feels guilty because of the huge bills he occasionally pays for her.

Clearly, she had gotten wind of the rumours making rounds on social media suggesting that her man (who happens to be the ex to Lydia K.M the host of award-winning podcast, TMI) is a leech and only dates financially stable women so that they can support his lifestyle.

"Pesa yangu ni yangu... (my money is my money) wewe ni baby girl, you are supposed to be treated like a baby girl as a matter of fact... a queen," started off the musician clearly agitated by the online talk making rounds on social media.

She went on to add, "Mimi sijui nini hiyo watu wanaandika huko kwa blogs oohh sijui nini chali yake anafanya nini and a lot of other things.

Nyinyi hamjui there are times when he foots bills till I get embarrassed," said Jovial in a bid to defend her lover.

Jovial went on to highlight how as an artist she loves all the fine things that the universe has to offer and her man understands the assignment correctly.

"You know I am an artist so I love good stuff and dude has been paying bills! Eehh enyewe msilo lijua usiku wa giza. People are so judgmental on social media on things they don't even know!" Jovial said as she burst out into laughter.

She went on to point out that haters could keep on thinking whatever they wanted as long as she personally knew how good she had it she didn't care.

"I'm not her to justify anything because it is not place, whatever people what to think or say that is their problem. I on the other hand I'm happy, I'm over joyed like naskia utamu! Just look at my skin guys..." said the artist.

She finished off by subliminally taking a jab at Lydia by stating that if a guy didn't spoil you, you just not worth it for him/the one.

"And one last thing guys, there is no stingy man.... if a man isn't spending money on you, you are not the person to be spent on," Jovial said as she finished her rant.
