Famous gospel and love singer Moses Tarus Omondi aka Mr Seed has asked his fans to remember him in their prayers as he revealed that he is struggling with depression.

Mr. Seed was involved in a serious road accident at the end of last month and has been nursing his injuries at home.

In his statement on Tuesday, the former EMB artist said that not being able to do basic things such as walking and washing himself for the 25 days that he has been nursing injuries in bed has bothered him a lot.

"25 days in this bed, I haven't been able to walk or clean myself after the accident. This is sad," he said on Instagram.

The singer accompanied his statement with teary-face emojis to show his pain. "Keep praying for Mr. Seed. I'll wake up again #NikoPoa," he said.

At the end of April, Mr. Seed was involved in a fatal road accident on the Nanyuki-Nairobi road.

According to his wife Nimo Gachuiri, he was in a car with some of his friends on April 29 on their way to see some land in the Nanyuki area when the accident happened.

One of them died while others were injured. Nimo narrated that the car her husband was in was in front of the one she was traveling in and they were stunned when they saw people gathered and arrived to find that her husband and his companions had an accident.

"I just remember running and seeing them on the ground and asking them to wake up. I don't know if I should be happy that some of my friends survived the accident because I can't help but cry that some lost their lives," Nimo said.

Nimo said what she saw was a miracle because her husband was alive even though he was in severe pain from the injuries he sustained.

"Seed is fine even though he has pain in his hip. He has been ordered to stay in bed for two weeks. Pray for us and also for the families of those who unfortunately died," Nimo wrote.

About three weeks ago, Mr Seed battled injuries and attended the funeral of his photographer Ambrose Khan who died in the accident.

During the burial, the musician was seen struggling to stand and walk when he was asked to greet the mourners.

He was also seen crying at the grave site of the deceased after he was buried in their farm. Later, he informed his fans that he will be taking a break from social media for an undisclosed amount of time to focus on his physical and mental health.

"I'm leaving social media for a while, I need to take care of my health/mind. I'll be back soon. Blessings. I love my fans, see you soon," he said.
