Samidoh, a Mugithi artist, has refuted allegations that Senator Karen Nyamu gave him a drink worth Sh420,000 on Father's Day.

This happened after Samidoh had uploaded a picture of himself with the description, "Bee Mug."

This elicited a question from a fan who asked whether expensive beverage Karen bought him was in the cup?
"Hio ni ile ya 420k."
In response, Samidoh said he hadn't been bought for anything.
"Hehe hizo ni vipindiree za social media usichukulie serious sana.naweza rogwa bure."
Last week, Sue Gachambi called out the lawmaker for lying about giving her baby daddy a present in a previous TitTok session.
Karen had in the past showed herself going to 'shop' for the drink.
"Nimekuja kununulia mbabaz pombe ya father's day. Nataka ile ya dooh mob kabisaa for mbabaz.
The most expensive one kabisaa, nataka kubuiya mbabaz," she told the store attendant as she walked around the vast enterprise looking around.
The salesperson guided her while demonstrating various bottles with prices ranging from 210K to 420K.
Karen was heard making light-hearted remarks about how purchasing a Toyota Vitz would cost the same as a 420k bottle of cognac.
She then 'bought' the 700ml Louis XIII cognac by Remy Martin for her mubabaz.
As they chatted pleasantly, the store clerk excitedly demonstrated to Karen how to open the spirits box.
The lawmaker proudly displayed her purchase on Instagram Stories by posting a screenshot of the receipt, perhaps in an effort to allay any skeptics.
