The least active young senators have been identified as Karen Nyamu, Hezena Lamaletian, and Chimera Mwinzago, who all nominated.

The three senators spoke less than 27 times, according to the Mzalendo Trust report, which was its first scorecard for the 13th Parliament.

The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party's Mwinzago and Nyamu each spoke 23 and 17 times, respectively.

Hezena, the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party's nominee, only spoke 21 times.

The period covered by the 2023 Parliamentary Scorecard is from September 29, 2022, through June 30, 2023.

Senator Nyamu has been in the news for the previous 12 months over her relationship with Samidoh.

She even appeared before the UDA disciplinary committee in the early months of this year to address the accusations made against her.

The senator is accused of acting in a "shameful" manner on December 16, 2022.

At Mugithi musician Samidoh's concert in Dubai, the legislator caused trouble, which led to an altercation with his wife Edday Nderitu.

Nyamu was restrained by the concert's security detail in a video clip that quickly became popular online.

A different video shows Nyamu performing while Samidoh and Akorino singer Karangu Muraya amused the crowd just before Nyamu was taken away following an argument.

Later, the senator admitted that she had been drinking, and she swore to stop in January of this year.

Kenyans demanded her expulsion from the party on the grounds that she had violated Chapter Six of the Constitution, which is dedicated to leadership and integrity.
