Ruger drops his first studio album, based off his real life

'Ru The World' is Ruger's first album since he broke into the music scene and he can't hide the joy this production has brought him.

Celebrated Nigerian recording and performing artist Michael Adebayo popularly known by his stage name, Ruger has just dropped his much anticipated studio album 'Ru The World'

'Ru The World' is Ruger's first album since he broke into the music scene and he can't hide the joy this production has brought him.

On several Instagram posts before its release, Ruger spoke of the album highlighting how all the songs in there are directly linked to his life. 

 

According to the 'Red Flags' hit maker the album is the realest thing he has ever created as he bares his life out in all the lyrics he's penned.

The 17-track album features guest appearances from Kenya Grammy-winning superstar group Sauti Sol, Jamaican-British rapper Stefflon Don, Dancehall sensation Projexx, music production group Jugglerz, and singer Govanna.

Ruger's album is a blend between several musical worlds. It is a journey between sounds seeing as he has embraced everything from RnB to Dancehall and reggae.

 

A move he maintains he settled on in order to give his fans a feel of everything great he has to offer.

"Thank you so much!!! I mean it, lots of love. Ru The World out now," excitedly wrote Ruger while sharing screen grabs of some of the songs featured in the album.

'Ru The World,' delves into themes of pain, love, growth, emotions,  and introspection, inviting listeners to join Ruger on a deeply personal musical journey.

The 23-year-old currently has two extended plays (EP) to his name. The first 'Pandemic' was released in 2021 while the second one 'Second Wave' was dropped at the start of 2022.

Following the album release, Ruger is set to embark on his maiden tour of the United Kingdom where he will be dazzling fans with his stagecraft and array of hit singles.
