A 22-year-old man from Sheema District in Uganda is accused of killing an Arsenal fan following a dispute over the Premier League match between Arsenal and Man United on Sunday.

According to Citizen Digital According to the police, Jackson Aineruhanga was killed shortly after Arsenal's victory over Man United.

The two football fans had an argument after Manchester United player Alejandro Garnacho's goal was disallowed for offside.

"It is alleged that in the evening after the match, the two fans had a disagreement while watching the match.

The two later went to a bar and were kicked out for causing chaos, and that's when the fight escalated," Police spokesperson Marcial Tumusiime said as quoted by the Monitor newspaper.

According to Tumusiime, the suspect is currently being tracked by the police after the victim who allegedly stabbed him with a sharp object in the chest died.

Tumusiime notes that investigations are ongoing and samples have been collected for further forensic examination.

"We visited the crime scene and found a piece of stick with blood stains and shoes of the suspects," he said. The victim's body was taken to Kabwohe Health Center for post-mortem
