Kenyan musician Nadia Mukami is officially the queen of music in the East African region.
Yep! This is after the artist won the Afrimma Award for Best female artist in the city of Kumukiya.
Mukami was vying for the award in 2023 with other artists like Zuchu and Maua Sama from Tanzania.
Writing about the victory, Mukami thanked her fans who believed in her and officially declared herself the queen.
"THE BEST FEMALE ARTIST IN EAST AFRICA @afrimma 2023!! WE WOOOON🇰🇪. Thank you @afrimma,” Mukami wrote.
Fans congratulated her saying that it is the year that she has put a lot into her music.
"Congratulations to our Muembu! Do they see how hardworking Embu women are?? Can they!!? 😂😂🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 You totally deserve this and MORE Nadia. Keep stepping on the gas pedal," the announcer Mwalimu Rachel congratulated her.

It will be remembered that Nadia has also been nominated for the Trace awards which will soon be held for the first time in Africa, in Kigali.
