Tanzanian gospel artist Christina Shusho is expected to have an end-of-year party in Kenya due to what she terms as an increased demand from fans.
Christina through her X (formerly Twitter) account announced that she and her team had seen all the memes and heard your cries, now it was time to deliver. She noted she was in talks with entertainer Churchill Ndambuki planning and would very soon give Kenyans what they had been asking for.
"Due to increased demands for a concert in Kenya, my team and I are working with Mwalimu Churchill to have a concert on the 31st of December 2023... (Kingereza kimeisha...)" the first part of her post which in the last few hours has accumulated over 6.1k likes and has been reposted by over 1.4k X users read.
The celebrated gospel artist went on to add that she was super elated to be coming to the great 254 and could not wait to give Kenyans an electrifying performance.
Christina Shusho noted that Kenyans had a special place in her heart highlighting she had "succumbed" to the pressure because Kenyans were very important to her;
"Tumeyafanyia nyinyi ni watu wangu wa muhimu. Expect an overnight concert on the 31st, I promise Mwalimu Churchill is working on it.
See you soon 254. Nitafika Nairobi kwa upendo (I'll be coming to Nairobi full of love,)" the last part of her X post read.
And Kenyans are having a field day following this announcement. Christina Shusho is currently trending at number 2 on the X app with people sharing how ecstatic they were to finish off the year with her bangers.
The memes are as wholesome as it can get and we are all here for it! I don't know if Kenyans are serious or just trolling *for the plot* because my country people are known to be jokers so let us just wait and see.
