Kenyan comedian, digital content creator and brand influencer Oliver Otieno popularly known as YY Comedian is opening up about one of his most embarrassing encounters and boy is it a hilarious one.

While making an appearance as a guest at a podcast show, YY recounted how after he broke into limelight he went to google to search up his name expecting greatness to come pouring out.

"When fame starts, you don't have to be that wealthy at that particular time because it is something you are building... so like you cannot wake up today you are famous then automatically you have a car," started off the father of one.

He went on to add;

"But I had an opposite mentality. And I had that mentality from way back... The very first time.... no you see the thing is I used to think that once you become famous or you just appear on TV, even if it is just one you stories automatically just start spreading like wildfire online even if you have not authorized them,"

"So the very first time I appeared on TV, the vey next day I went to google to look myself up," YY opened up amidst bursts of laughter from him and the shows host.

The comedian narrated how in his naivety he thought that there are people who were fully employed to fill the internet with celebrities stories even if they weren't true.

I mean there is a team at Wikipedia and bloggers, like I who run stories so he's not entirely wrong. However, the issue here is the comedian thought someone would automatically set up a bio about him highlighting his assets and net worth immediately.

"I went to google and I was like "YY's car..." He said as he burst out laughing then proceeded to call himself out for his naivety.

"Sasa nani aiweke hapo and I didn't have a car! But I thought that immediately you appear on TV there are people responsible for running and publishing your stories,"

On what popped up when he went searching for his assets the father of 1 went on to reveal his embarrassment.

"They brought me YY from China because there a lot of people have a similar name, as well as shipping companies. There was nothing about me or my imaginary car (s),"
