The Duke of Sussex is set to make a visit to the UK to meet with King Charles "in the coming days" following the announcement from Buckingham Palace about the monarch's cancer diagnosis, according to information from the BBC.

A spokesperson for Prince Harry revealed that he had already spoken to his father about the diagnosis. Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, relocated to the US after stepping back as senior royals in 2020, leading to strained relationships with some other members of the royal family.

While Prince Harry travels to the UK, Meghan will remain in the US with their two children.

The duke's last public appearance at a royal event occurred in May during the King's Coronation, but his relationship with the royals has been marked by tensions.

During his time in the US, Prince Harry has spoken openly about life within the Royal Family, detailing disagreements and challenges in his memoir Spare, an interview with Oprah Winfrey, and a Netflix documentary.

Despite their differences, Prince Harry and King Charles have maintained a relationship.

The King personally informed Prince Harry of his health diagnosis, reaching out to other family members, including the Prince of Wales and the King's siblings.

The duke has expressed past concerns about his father's response during discussions about stepping down as a working royal, but their bond remains significant.
