The family of the late Salem actor Charles 'Charli' Ouda has released an itinerary of the activities that are scheduled to take place from the 12th of February till the 15th of February leading up to the final laying down ceremony.
In a WhatsApp group formed for the smooth preparation and coordination of the burial rites for the late thespian, it was revealed that Charlie would be laid to rest on the 15th.
The detailed schedule also noted that Charlie would be cremated during a tight-knit family-only proceeding at Kariokor.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, As we approach the final preparations for the homecoming of our beloved Charli, amidst the challenges of this season, we are immensely grateful for the overwhelming love and support extended to us.
We wish to extend our deepest appreciation to all who have shown solidarity, love, and compassion; particularly to Charli's Fiancé Ciru Muriuki, his siblings Clement, Philip, David, Elizabeth, Selina, and the entire Ouda Family," part of the WhatsApp message outpouring with gratitude during this trying time read.
The text went on to outline the schedule which included dates, times, and locations of the rites that would take place as they geared to give their beloved the last goodbye.

"In the coming days, here is a schedule of the forthcoming events
:* Family Residence Gathering: Friends and relatives are invited to join us at the family residence located at 63 Mukabi Rd in Loresho, as we make funeral arrangements
.* Fundraiser: A fundraiser will be held on Tuesday, February 13th, 2024, commencing at 5:30 p.m. This event will take place in the Higher Trinity room at All Saints Cathedral
.* Cortege Departure: On Wednesday, February 14th, 2024, the cortege will depart from Chiromo Funeral Home for an overnight vigil at the family home.
* Church Service and Last Rites: A church service will be held at All Saints Cathedral on Thursday, February 15th, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., followed by the last rites at Kariokor for immediate family members.
Your presence and support during this time are deeply appreciated as we honour and celebrate the life of Charli. Thank you for standing with us in this moment of grief," the rest of the text read.
